TeamHealth is seeking a part-time PMHNP to provide psychiatric care for older adults in post-acute and long-term care settings across Atlanta and surrounding areas. The role emphasizes clinical autonomy, supportive staff, and a flexible schedule with no nights or weekends.

You will conduct evaluations, diagnose and treat psychiatric and neurocognitive disorders, and manage psychotropic medications while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. GA license and DEA are required or in process.

Qualifikationen

• Active Georgia PMHNP-C or Psychiatry NP license.
• Active DEA registration or willingness to obtain.
• Minimum 6 months PMHNP or psych PA experience.
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred.

Aufgaben

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management.
• Coverage area includes Atlanta, Jasper, Chatsworth, and Dalton, Georgia.
