Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant college or university.
• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of FL.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of Physical Therapist.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
• Well versed with documentation writing.
• Report to work on time and demonstrate professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Provide treatment adhering to goals developed by the PT and document progress for supervisor.
• Provide feedback to the supervising physical therapist via documentation.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.
• Maintain compliance with confidentiality, HIPAA and Residents' Rights.
