Job summary

Palmetto Subacute Care Center in Miami, FL seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to carry out treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will help deliver individualized care to residents, supporting mobility, strength, and daily living activities.

The role requires graduation from an accredited PTA program, a valid FL license, and good documentation. Experience in geriatric and long-term care is preferred; reliability, teamwork, and respect for resident rights are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Must hold a valid Florida PTA license/registration.
• Experience in long-term/geriatric care preferred.
• Strong documentation skills and timely progress notes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best-practice treatments under the PT's supervision.
• Provide treatments aligned with goals set by the PT.
• Document patient progress on weekly notes and reports.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to ensure patient-centered care.
• Maintain confidentiality and residents' rights; professional conduct.
