Majestic Care of Southport is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan, and provide individualized therapy for residents in a skilled nursing facility. You will focus on mobility, strength, endurance, balance, and functional independence, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualified candidates hold a PT degree (DPT or MSc) and current state licensure. Supervisory responsibilities for PTAs may apply, with emphasis on compassionate, resident-centered care.

Qualifikationen

• Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate residents’ physical therapy needs and develop treatment plans.
• Provide PT interventions such as therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training.
• Monitor residents’ progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate residents and families on home programs and safety.
• Collaborate with nursing, OT, and SLP for coordinated care.
