Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist in Helena, MT to evaluate and treat residents, collaborate with families and the health care team, and maintain documentation in medical records. The role includes supervising PT assistants and educating residents and caregivers on exercise programs and safety.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy with a preference for Masters or Doctorate, and state licensure with ongoing CE requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the state.
• CPR certification if required by licensure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine physical therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and aides in resident care.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, and families about progress and discharge planning.
• Complete accurate documentation in compliance with regulations and payer requirements.
• Educate residents and families on home exercise programs and safety.
