Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner to deliver geriatric and palliative care on an as-needed basis. The NP will provide clinical care to assigned patients and ensure ongoing credentialing and program requirements are met.

The role requires an NP with a Master's degree, active RN and NP licensure, and BCLS/ACLS certifications. Orientation is provided and engagement complies with institutional regulations. A two-week resignation notice is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required to provide acute/primary care services.
• Current RN license and NP licensure (CNP) required.
• BCLS/ACLS and other certifications as specified by program.

Responsibilities

• Provide as-needed clinical patient care to assigned patients.
• Maintain BCLS/ACLS certifications and complete required education.
• Demonstrate competence within the assigned area per position description.
• Complete orientation prior to engagement and comply with institutional policies.
• Maintain contact information and communicate schedule changes as needed.
• Submit resignation notice at least two weeks before effective date.
