Qualifications

• Master's degree in NP or equivalent.
• Relevant clinical nursing experience.
• RN License (DOH / Office of Professions).
• CNP License (DOH / Office of Professions).
• BCLS certification (AHA).
• ACLS certification (ED; PACU/ASU; ICUs; Telemetry; SDU; IR; etc.).
• NRP certification (L&D; NICU depts).
• PALS certification (ED; PACU; IR; Peds ICU; APN Pediatric Oncology).

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical patient care to assigned patients on an as-needed basis.
• Maintains BCLS/ACLS Certification and annual program requirements.
• Possesses competence in the area of assignment per the position description.
• Completes orientation before engagement and complies with institutional regulations.
• Maintains telephone accessibility and notifies the unit of changes in contact information.
• Submits a letter of resignation at least two weeks ahead of effective date.
