Job summary

Montage Health seeks a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join the Palliative Medicine Service on a per diem basis. The NP collaborates with physicians to deliver comprehensive palliative care, manages acute and chronic patients, and educates families on available services.

Candidates must hold CA NP licensure, a Master’s in Nursing, and applicable board certifications, with BLS and a valid DEA. Per diem day shifts apply, with differential pay as noted.

Qualifications

• Education and licensure as NP in CA with CA RN license.
• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• CA NP certification per ANCC/ACNPC/AA NP.
• Possession of a DEA number for controlled substances; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine care and management under standardized procedures.
• Collaborate with supervising physician and palliative care team.
• Educate patients and families about palliative care services; conduct in-services.
