Zusammenfassung

NPHire is launching a pain and palliative care practice in the Cincinnati area, hiring NPs and PAs to care for geriatric residents across skilled nursing facilities. You’ll follow the same patients, manage pain medications, including controlled substances, with an MD on site.

This ground-floor role shapes clinical standards in a brand-new Ohio market. New grads with RN experience in ortho, pain, SNF, or high-volume ER are welcome; malpractice with tail coverage is included.

Qualifikationen

• Active, unrestricted Ohio NP or PA license, or eligible to obtain
• AGACNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC, FNP-BC, or PA-C certification
• Active DEA registration, or able to obtain one before start
• Comfortable with 40 to 50 visits per day and prescribing independently

Aufgaben

• Conduct 40 to 50 focused pain management visits per day across facilities
• Build individualized plans combining medication management and non-pharmacological approaches
• Prescribe and monitor pain medications, including controlled substances
• Coordinate referrals for physical therapy, acupuncture, spinal blocks, and other interventions
• Educate patients and families on pain control strategies
• Track outcomes and refine treatment plans
• Document in TEBRA and PointClickCare
• Build relationships with staff and leadership at each facility
