NPHire is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to serve geriatric residents in Cincinnati-area skilled nursing facilities. You will manage pain medications, including controlled substances, with an MD on site, handling 40–50 patient visits daily across SNFs.

New grads with relevant RN experience are considered. Malpractice with tail coverage is included and onsite travel between facilities is required as part of a full-time role.

Qualificações

• Active, unrestricted Ohio NP or PA license.
• Certification in AGACNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC, FNP-BC, or PA-C required.
• Willingness to travel between Cincinnati-area facilities.
• Ability to prescribe independently, including controlled substances.

Responsabilidades

• Handle 40 to 50 focused pain management follow-ups per day across SNFs.
• Develop and adjust individualized pain plans for acute and chronic pain.
• Prescribe and manage pain medications independently, including controlled substances.
• Arrange referrals for PT, acupuncture, spinal blocks, and interventional care.
• Teach patients and families practical pain management strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians and facility providers to track outcomes.

Cincinnati is a new market for this growing pain management practice, and this NP or PA role is one of its first hires here. You'll care for geriatric residents in skilled nursing facilities, following the same patients over time and managing their pain medications, including controlled substances, with an MD on site. The practice is prioritizing providers with pain management, ortho, physiatry, SNF rounding, or hospice experience. New grads are considered with RN experience in ortho, pain management, SNF, or high-volume ER. Malpractice with tail coverage is included.

Each completed visit pays $10, with a guaranteed $150 minimum per facility per day. Visits are focused 10-minute pain follow-ups, and most providers see 40 to 50 patients daily, or about $400 to $500.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle 40 to 50 focused pain management follow-ups per day across SNFs

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Ohio NP or PA license
• AGACNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC, FNP-BC, or PA-C certification
• Active DEA registration, or able to obtain one before start
• Comfortable with 40 to 50 focused visits per day and independent prescribing, including controlled substances
• Fully onsite; comfortable traveling between Cincinnati area facilities
• Preferred: pain management, ortho, physiatry, SNF rounding, or hospice experience
• New grads considered with RN experience in ortho, pain management, SNF, or high-volume ER (county or trauma ER a strong plus)
• TEBRA or PointClickCare experience a plus

Schedule & Compensation

• $10 per completed visit | ~$400-$500/day at typical volume
• $150 guaranteed minimum per facility per day (a floor, not an extra payment)
• Full-time | Schedule varies by facility and caseload
