Job summary

NOVO Rehabilitation is a faith-based therapy company serving the geriatric population. The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant coordinates with the evaluating OT to provide skilled treatment and help residents achieve greater independence in ADLs/IADLs while maintaining high function during therapy stay.

Responsibilities include delivering OT services, documenting progress, and collaborating with the team to ensure patient-centered goals are met within Medicare guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Pass the NBCOT COTA exam.
• Current, active licensure in OK as Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Maintain required CEUs to stay in good standing with the board.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides occupational therapy services to residents according to established standards and procedures.
• Coordinates with the evaluating Occupational Therapist to ensure goals reflect patient needs.
• Implements the care plan to address short- and long-term goals under supervision.
• Completes daily treatment notes, progress notes, and discharges per Medicare guidelines.
