Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license as Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant or eligible for licensure.
• One year experience preferred; new graduates considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist with initial patient assessments under OT supervisor and direction.
• Document the course of patient care including progress notes and treatment needs.
• Administer modalities, exercise regimes, or treatment procedures per policy.
• Maintain progress notes and department records regarding documentation and charges.
• Promote education within the department.
• Demonstrate knowledge of care for neonatal to geriatric age groups.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by the Inpatient Physical Medicine Supervisor.
