Job summary

NOVO Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support geriatric residents in a faith-based setting. You will work under the supervising Occupational Therapist to deliver skilled therapy and advance independence in ADL/IADL tasks.

You will coordinate with the OT to ensure goals align with a patient-centered plan, document progress, and complete required notes and discharges in a timely manner, while maintaining licensure and CEU requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree as Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• NBCOT COTA certification or eligibility.
• Current, active licensure in the state of OK as Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Maintains CEUs to stay in good standing with the board.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates closely with the evaluating Occupational Therapist to deliver skilled therapy.
• Provides OT services to residents to improve independence in ADL/IADL tasks.
• Ensures care plans reflect patient goals and safety in the environment.
• Completes daily treatment notes, progress notes, and discharges in a timely manner.
