Swift Optometry in Lewiston, ME seeks a Part-Time Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care in long-term care facilities. You will conduct routine exams, dilated exams, diabetic evaluations, and treat ocular conditions while serving a geriatric population with empathy.

Qualifications

• OD license
• DEA License
• Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand/walk/work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day
• Competitive salary: $40.00 - $45.00 per patient

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, comprehensive exams for glasses and contacts
• Perform dilated exams
• Provide diabetic evaluations
• Treatment of infection and injury
• Repair and equip patients with eyeglasses
• Proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease
• Comfortable working with the geriatric population
