Swift Optometry is seeking a friendly and compassionate Optometrist to join our team. You will provide comprehensive eye care to residents in long-term care facilities, delivering exams, diabetic evaluations and ocular disease management in a geriatric population.

This part-time role offers a per-patient salary with opportunities to contribute to senior care and deliver convenient services directly on-site. Join a dedicated team focused on resident well-being and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• OD license required.
• DEA license required.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, comprehensive exams for glasses and contacts
• Perform dilated exams
• Provide diabetic evaluations
• Treatment of infection and injury
• Repair and equip patients with eyeglasses
• Proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease
• Comfortable working with the geriatric population
