Job summary

Flagship Therapy in Burien, WA seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) for full-time and PRN roles. The OTA will perform patient screenings, develop care plans, and deliver skilled rehabilitation in a geriatric setting.

Licensed OTAs of any experience level are welcome to apply; this role involves physical duties and interprofessional collaboration within an in-house rehab program. Excellent team environment and patient-focused care are emphasized.

Qualifications

• OTA license required.
• Open to all experience levels; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wounds; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative and medically necessary treatments.
• Assist with standing, walking, lifting, and repositioning of patients as needed.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, devices, and wound care.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and caregivers; generate discharge summaries to ensure compliance.
