Job summary

Johnson Memorial Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Of New England, seeks an Occupational Therapist to join a mission-driven Geriatric Behavioral Health Team. The OT conducts evaluations, provides direct treatment, and documents care for therapy referrals.

The role requires CT licensure and graduation from an AOTA-accredited program, with strong communication skills. This is a full-time, day-shift position with benefits and a collaborative leadership environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA accredited school.
• Current State of CT license.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides full scope of direct and clinical services necessary to maximize patient care.
• communicates results of assessment and treatment to patient, family, and care team and documents progress.
• Develops and maintains advanced clinical skills within geriatrics and behavioral health.
• Maintains clear communication with treatment team, physicians, clients, and/or family members to support problem solving and care planning.
