Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, and administer rehabilitation therapy across adult to geriatric populations. This full-time role supports inpatient and outpatient settings, with a day shift from 7:30a to 4p or 8:30a to 5p, and a 40-hour schedule.

Candidates must hold MA licensure and a degree in OT; a signing bonus may be offered. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, collaborating with the care team, and contributing to quality

Qualifications

• Requires MA state license as Occupational Therapist.
• OT degree or equivalent post-degree program.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Administers therapy evaluations and develops treatment plans for varied patient populations.
• Analyzes data, interprets functional ability, and discusses progress with physicians.
• Designs and implements treatment plans with goals for independence.
• Selects activities suitable for patient level to upgrade independence.
• Educates patient and family on therapy goals and participates in discharge planning.
• Documents care and assists with therapy billing and inventory.
