Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the state of practice as Occupational Therapist.
• NBCOT certification preferred.
• BLS for health care providers required or within first 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients/patients/residents and design occupational therapy treatments.
• Help clients develop, maintain and recover ability to perform tasks in daily occupations.
• Conduct evaluations and provide interventions for clients with functional, cognitive or psychosocial impairments.
• Document client information for evaluation; establish and modify therapeutic plans as needed.
