Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and other relevant software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and assessments to identify patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide hands-on therapy, including exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment, to improve patients' motor skills, strength, and coordination
• Monitor and track patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document all interventions and outcomes
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care
• Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve daily functioning and promote independence
• Stay updated on the latest research and techniques in occupational therapy and incorporate new methods into practice as appropriate
