Job summary

Johnson Memorial Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Geriatric Behavioral Health Team. You will perform evaluations, direct patient treatment, and provide documentation for occupational therapy referrals.

You will be responsible for delivering full-scope OT services, communicating results to patients and care teams, developing advanced clinical skills, and collaborating with the treatment team to plan and educate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA accredited school.
• Current State of CT license.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides full scope of direct and clinical services necessary to maximize patient care.
• Communicates assessment or treatment results to patient, family, and care providers; documents progress.
• Develops and maintains advanced clinical skills and diverse, multi-site service delivery.
• Maintains communication with treatment team, physicians, clients, and family to facilitate planning and education.
