Job summary

Homewood Living Williamsport is seeking a part-time nursing assistant for the evening shift. You will provide daily living activities under licensed supervision, honoring confidentiality and care plans while supporting residents’ comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include personal hygiene, nutrition support, and accurate documentation. You will work with the care team to implement care plans and participate in care planning sessions, ensuring resident dignity and well-being.

Qualifications

• Maintains confidentiality of resident information
• Demonstrates English reading/writing ability for care plans
• Understands and follows resident care plans
• Works as part of a care team to support residents

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living care under licensed staff supervision
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and family details
• Assist with personal hygiene: bathing, shaving, clothing, nail care, bathroom needs
• Distribute clean linen and make beds as required
• Support proper resident nutrition and assist with feeding when needed
• Perform resident treatments within nursing scope as assigned
• Record observations concisely and report changes to team leader
• Participate in resident care planning
• Promote daily living activities per care plan
• Follow Lift Free Program for lifts/transfers
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor
