Homewood Retirement Centers seeks a compassionate Nursing Assistant to provide daily living activities and resident care under licensed supervision. You will assist with personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility, following each resident's care plan.

Responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality, documenting observations, participating in care planning, and adhering to policies. You must be listed on the state registry within 120 days and be able to lift 30 pounds frequently.

Qualifications

• Must be listed on the state nursing assistant registry within 120 days of employment.
• Ability to lift and transfer up to 30 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist for an 8-hour shift.
• English literacy to read and follow care plans and interact with residents.

Responsabilités

• Treat all resident information as confidential.
• Comply with policies and maintain standards and practices.
• Assist with personal hygiene: bathing, shaving, changing clothes, nail care, toileting.
• Provide clean linen and make beds to meet resident needs.
• Encourage proper nutrition and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform resident treatments as assigned within nursing scope.
• Record observations concisely and report changes.
• Participate in resident care planning.
• Promote activities of daily living per care plan.
• Follow Lift Free Program for lifts/transfers as specified.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
