Sharp HealthCare in San Diego, CA seeks a patient care assistant to support licensed nurses and deliver quality patient care on a 12/36 shift. The role includes admissions, daily care, and unit coordination, with a weekend rotation every other week under SEIU-UHW contract.

The candidate must have AHA BLS for Healthcare Professional, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year of geriatric or acute care experience. Competitive hourly pay is offered.

Formación

• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional is REQUIRED.
• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 Year recent experience in geriatric setting or acute care hospital.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborates with the interprofessional team to deliver quality patient care.
• Assists with admissions, discharges and transfers, and related documentation.
• Delivers daily patient care per unit standards and communicates changes.
• Ensures patient safety and accurate record-keeping within scope of practice.
