Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in San Diego is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support the interprofessional team in delivering quality patient care during 7 PM–7:30 AM shifts.

The role requires adherence to safety, accuracy, and compassionate patient interactions, with weekend requirements every other weekend and 12/36 hour shifts as part of the schedule. AHA BLS is required and the position is covered by SEIU-UHW CBA.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic patient/resident care skills.
• Fluent knowledge (written and spoken) of English.

Responsibilities

• Admissions, Discharge and Transfer responsibilities and related room setup.
• Daily patient care and documentation per unit standards.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition; follow RN guidance.
