Job summary

West Shores Senior Living in Hot Springs, AR, seeks an LPN/LVN to oversee day-to-day nursing activities in an Independent and Assisted Living setting.

You will administer medications, document shift reports, and ensure medication and supply readiness, while coordinating with the nursing team to meet residents' needs. A current LPN/LVN license and at least 1 year of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN and maintain licensure.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Experience in assisted living or long-term care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Submit reports/recommendations about shift activities.
• Ensure adequate supply of medications and equipment.
• Communicate with pharmacies to order prescriptions.
• Prepare patient charts and perform general office duties.

LPN/LVN Responsibilities include:

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents. Report needs to the nursing supervisor
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions
• Pulls and prepares patient charts; performs other general office duties as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience required
• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure
