Job summary

Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community, Inc. in Harrisonburg, VA seeks an RN Nurse Educator to plan, develop, coordinate, track, and evaluate education for Supportive Living, Transitional Care, Complete Living Care, and Assisted Living.

You will oversee both licensed and unlicensed staff to ensure compliance with regulations and VMRC standards, delivering education via e-learning, classrooms, and multimedia.

Qualifications

• RN license in Virginia with current practice authority.
• BSN preferred and nursing leadership experience.
• Experience in geriatrics, long-term care, transitional care or assisted living.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based training tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate, track, and evaluate education programs.
• Oversee education for licensed and unlicensed clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Deliver education using e-learning, classroom delivery, clinical settings, or multimedia methods.
• Ensure compliance with VMRC policies and state/federal regulations.
