Qualifications

Virginia NP license is required.
DEA registration is required.
1+ year advanced practice experience.
Experience in primary care, geriatrics, acute care, or similar settings.
Comfort working with medically complex patients.

Responsibilities

Plan, direct, and evaluate medical care in geriatric settings.
Examine and treat chronic illnesses.
Examine and treat urgent illnesses, minor injuries, etc.
Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing.
Collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare professionals.
Work closely with the interdisciplinary care team.
Make referrals as necessary.
