Qualifications
- North Carolina NP license is required.
- DEA license is required.
- At least 1 year of advanced practice experience is required.
- At least 1 year of experience in facilities, home care, geriatrics, or related settings is required.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and evaluate medical care for geriatric patients in a skilled nursing facility.
- Examine and treat chronic illnesses.
- Examine and treat urgent illnesses.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing.
- Collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare professionals.
- Work closely with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Make referrals as necessary.
