Job summary

GuideStar Eldercare seeks a Clinical Psychologist to deliver neurobehavioral health services to residents in long-term care facilities. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, continuity of care for elderly patients with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other neurocognitive conditions.

The role requires an active state psychologist license and a strong interest in geriatric neurobehavioral science.

Qualifications

• Active state Psychologist license required.
• Geriatric neurobehavioral interest and passion for elder care.
• Desire to improve care for patients with dementia and related disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation.
• Establish differential diagnoses (e.g., Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, vascular).
• Provide cognitive assessments.
• Deliver condition-specific therapy or insight-based therapy when indicated.
• Coordinate care plans with facilities, PCPs, GuideStar peers, and families.
