Job summary

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, a state-approved medication administration certification, CPR, and strong English communication; you will document care, participate in narcotic counts, monitor vital signs, and coordinate with the Health and Wellness Director to support resident well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Medication Administration training/certification per state requirements.
• Must meet all health requirements.
• Experienced Caregiver or CNA certification per state requirements.
• CPR certification.
• Strong English language skills to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication assistance and personal care to residents.
• Complete documentation per standards to ensure care is provided and needs are met.
• Participate in narcotic counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Administer medications following Rights of Medication Administration.
• Maintain cleanliness of medication room and cart and ensure timely pharmacy orders.
