Job summary

HealthDrive Corporation is seeking a Medical Director to oversee admissions and collaborate with on-site Nurse Practitioners caring for residents in skilled nursing facilities. This is an on-site position with no remote options, offering flexible scheduling and strong support services.

The role requires MD/DO credentials, US residency, and a Certified Medical Director certificate (or willingness to obtain one).

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completed US residency program.
• Certified Medical Director certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Medical Director or Attending Physician for SNFs/Rehabs and participate in administrative/quality initiatives.
• Attend monthly QA/regulatory meetings and quarterly staff meetings.
• Provide guidance to facility staff, oversee care plans, ensure compliance with regulations, supervise clinical staff.
• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners to manage daily resident care across facilities with on-site NPs.
• Round on patients to provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care services.
