Job summary

HealthDrive is seeking a part-time or full-time Medical Director to manage new admissions and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners serving residents in skilled nursing facilities. This on-site role emphasizes health promotion and active participation as a medical staff member.

The Medical Director will lead clinical care, participate in quality initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance while supervising on-site staff and engaging with facility leadership.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid medical license in the state of practice.
• Must hold a valid DEA license in the state of practice.
• Completed U.S. residency program.
• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Certified Medical Director or willing to obtain certificate.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Medical Director or Attending Physician for SNFs/rehabs and participate in admin and quality initiatives.
• Attend monthly QA/regulatory meetings and quarterly staff meetings.
• Oversee clinical care plans and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; supervise facility clinical staff.
• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners to manage daily resident care across facilities.
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care by rounding on residents.
