HealthDrive Corporation in Georgia is seeking a Medical Director to lead admissions for skilled nursing facilities and collaborate with on-site NPs attending to residents in sub-acute rehab and long-term care units. This on-site role offers flexible scheduling with no nights, weekends, or on-call requirements and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Medical license valid in state of practice.
• DEA/Controlled Substance license in state of practice.
• Completed U.S. residency program.
• MD or DO degree from accredited institution.
• Certified Medical Director certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently and with on-site staff.
• Effective communication with geriatric/Medicare population.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with email, internet and healthcare software.

Responsabilités

• Serve as Medical Director or Attending Physician for SNFs/rehabs and participate in admin/quality initiatives.
• Attend monthly QA/regulatory meetings and quarterly staff meetings.
• Participate in quality improvement, supervise staff, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with NPs to manage daily resident care at each facility.
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care by rounding on residents.
