Job summary

HealthDrive is seeking a Medical Director to oversee new admissions and collaborate with on-site Nurse Practitioners in skilled nursing facilities. This on-site role offers flexible scheduling with no nights or weekends.

The position supports administrative and billing/coding services, with competitive compensation and malpractice coverage. The role involves leading medical staff initiatives, quality improvements, and direct patient care across subspecialty needs in sub-acute and long-term care

Qualifications

• Active medical license in the practicing state.
• DEA/Controlled Substances license required.
• Residency completed in a U.S. program.
• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• CMDC certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Medical Director or Attending Physician for SNFs/Rehabs.
• Attend monthly QA/regulatory meetings and quarterly staff meetings.
• Oversee clinical care plans and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with NPs to manage daily resident care at facilities.
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care through facility rounds.
