Job summary

ArchWell Health in Missouri is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the PCP, greet and room members, and assist in assessing health conditions during appointments.

Duties include performing intake with vital signs, routine screenings, dressings, CPR when needed, processing calls, coordinating care, and providing health coaching, while maintaining OSHA standards and ensuring compassionate, patient‑centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable training.
• Minimum 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• 6+ months phlebotomy experience desired.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• Experience with EClinical Works or similar EMR.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake, vital signs, medical history, and routine screenings.
• Collaborate with PCP and clinical staff to coordinate care.
• Process patient communications and ensure timely information flow.
• Assist with dressings, sutures, CPR under supervision.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and ethical documentation.
• Provide health coaching with weekly follow-ups.
