Job summary

ArchWell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the primary care team. The MA greets and rooms members, conducts intake, measures vitals, and assists the physician during visits. You will also perform routine tests, provide health coaching, and ensure proper documentation.

Ideal candidates have a Medical Assistant program credential, at least one year of MA experience, BLS certification, and EMR familiarity. The role emphasizes compassionate senior care within ArchWell Health centers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable training is required.
• Minimum 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Phlebotomy experience (6+ months) is highly desired.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers is required.
• Experience with EClinical Works or similar EMR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room ArchWell Health members and collect intake data.
• Assess patient health conditions and assist PCP during appointments.
• Perform routine diagnostic testing as part of patient visits.
• Provide health coaching and follow up with patients.
• Maintain OSHA safety standards and accurate documentation.
• Communicate patient needs to PCP, specialists, and staff.
