Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold an active NC LPN license.
• CPR certification required.
• Geriatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff on unit during shifts.
• May be required to take call for staffing coverage.
• Provide resident care under RN supervision.
• Delegate tasks to non-licensed staff; monitor performance.
• Support QA data collection and corrective actions.
• Help maintain infection control practices.
• Assist with admissions assessments and nursing assessments.
• Complete resident assessments as directed.
• Attend nursing department meetings.
• Assist with lab requests and notify MD.
• Provide CPR during emergencies.
• Coordinate health care team and rehab aides.
• Other duties as assigned by DON.
