Job summary

Senior Care Therapy, LLC in Maryland is seeking Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) to provide in-person psychotherapy to geriatric residents in skilled nursing facilities. The role includes working with subacute and long-term care settings, with a mission to improve mood, functioning and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted LPC license in the state applying.
• Strong English communication skills (oral and written).
• In-person services at skilled nursing facilities up to 45 minutes per session.
• Experience in geriatric or subacute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy for residents in SNFs or subacute facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat emotional/behavioral health conditions (depression, anxiety, cognitive decline).
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient.
• Collaborate with facility staff and interdisciplinary teams to support care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EHR and ensure regulatory compliance.
