Health Systems in Vienna, Missouri seeks a dedicated cook to join our care team in MARIES MANOR. You will prepare meals per menu, assist with desserts, and ensure dietary restrictions are followed for residents requiring geriatrics-focused care.

The role requires at least a GED, ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, and solid English reading/writing skills. We offer health, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401K.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Knowledgeable of dietary techniques and procedures.
• Lift up to 25 pounds frequently and/or 50 pounds occasionally.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsabilités

• Prepares meals, desserts and snacks according to menu; follows special diets.
• Serves meals that are palatable and presentable.
• Keeps work area clean, organized and sanitized.
• Knows health code requirements for storage and temperatures.
• Estimates and prepares food supplies to meet portions.
• Maintains a safe, clean and respectable work environment.
• Attends and participates in continuing educational programs.
