Job summary

GlenBrook HC LLC is seeking a part-time Server/Nutrition Services Diet Aide to support the skilled nursing and assisted living dining services. You will help with meal tray setup and the preparation/portioning of therapeutic diets per physician orders and posted menus, while delivering courteous resident service.

Responsibilities include pre/post meal checklists, tray assembly, and transporting meals. Training is provided; food handler card is required; English comprehension and teamwork are

Qualifications

• Six months’ experience as a diet aide or diet clerk preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays for skilled nursing trayline and assist with therapeutic diets.
• Prepare and portion nourishments, snacks, salads and desserts.
• Take resident meal orders courteously and listen carefully.
• Clear dining tables before, during and after meals.
• Transport hot and cold foods and non-food items as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of station and equipment.
