Job summary

echrshealth is seeking a Dietary Aide to perform food service tasks, assist with resident meals, and help document food acceptance. The role may include orientation and on‑the‑job training of new staff as directed by the supervisor, with other duties assigned by the Director.

Responsibilities include serving meals safely, cleaning equipment, stocking supplies, complying with sanitation standards, and reporting any equipment or facility concerns to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must have genuine interest in geriatrics and serving residents.
• Ability to follow instructions and manage time effectively.
• Able to adapt to frequent changes in routine.
• Prior food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents' meals safely and with comfort in line with regulations.
• Clean and sterilize dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Prepare, deliver, and collect meal trays per schedule.
• Maintain sanitation and sanitation standards; report issues.
• Assist with orientation and training of new staff as directed by supervisor.
• Follow policies to minimize food waste and ensure quality.
