Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Dietitian to lead the Dietary Services Department, developing nourishing, well-balanced menus and tailoring plans to each resident’s needs. The role works with the Dietary Manager and interdisciplinary team to ensure proper diet orders, documentation, and care plan alignment across the facility.

Responsibilities include interviewing residents and families, updating assessments, reviewing menus, and contributing to quality assurance efforts to meet regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Interviews residents and families to gather nutrition information.
• Documents nutrition care in medical records in line with assessments.
• Maintains diet plans and adapts menus to resident needs and preferences.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized dietary plans based on assessments.
• Ensure diet orders are followed according to care plans.
• Coordinate with care teams to implement nutrition interventions.
• Attend care plan conferences and communicate resident concerns.
• Perform quarterly audits of clinical records for compliance.
