Job summary

Pruitthealth Corporation is seeking a qualified Dietitian to oversee the Dietary Services Department, ensuring nourishing and nutritionally balanced meals for residents according to assessments and care plans. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or related field (required).
• A minimum of two (2) years in a professional food service setting and clinical healthcare experience including dietary planning and implementation.
• Current, unrestricted and active registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics for the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients/families to develop individualized dietary care plans.
• Completes and updates dietary assessments in the medical record per care plan and regulatory guidelines.
• Reviews and ensures prescribed diets meet menu and regulatory requirements.
• Accounts for cultural food preferences in meal planning and documentation.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate residents’ care plans.
• Attends care plan conferences and communicates resident concerns to the care team.
• Performs quarterly audits of clinical records for quality and regulatory compliance.
• Participates in hiring staff with appropriate qualifications and supports staff training.
