Center for Elders’ Independence is a PACE organization focused on providing high-quality, affordable, integrated health care to the elderly. The Dietetic Technician will work with CEI’s Registered Dietitians and possess knowledge of clinical nutrition, therapeutic diets, and food service operations.

The role includes data collection, menu assistance, nutrition education, meal service support, and collaboration with vendors and staff across CEI locations.

Qualifications

• Education: BS/BA in food science and nutrition or similar; DTR credential by CDR preferred.
• Experience: 1+ year in health care facility preferred.
• Strong communication with staff, participants and families.

Responsabilités

• Screen participant data from medical records for assessments.
• Conduct sanitation and safety checks of center kitchens.
• Audit diet cards for therapeutic diets and accuracy.
• Provide nutrition education to participants, families and staff.
• Conduct meal rounds and follow up with nutrition staff.
