Job summary

The Center for Elders’ Independence is seeking a Dietetic Technician to work with CEI’s Registered Dietitians. You will apply clinical nutrition knowledge and oversee food service operations.

Responsibilities include diet card audits, nutrition education, meal rounds, and coordinating with vendors and care teams. Travel to CEI locations may be required; CPR/First Aid current is expected.

Qualifications

• The degree or registered credential required for the role.
• Experience and communication ability with staff and participants.
• CPR/First Aid certification maintained.

Responsibilities

• Review participant medical records and perform screenings.
• Ensure sanitation and safety of center kitchens per CEI policies.
• Audit diet cards for therapeutic diets and accuracy.
• Provide nutrition education within scope of practice.
• Conduct meal rounds and follow up with staff.
