Senior Care Therapy is seeking Licensed Professional Counselors to provide in-person psychotherapy to residents in geriatric facilities across NJ, NY, PA, and MD. SCT handles billing, credentialing, and pre-certifications, enabling clinicians to focus on care.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state applied for.
• Effective oral and written communication in English.
• Basic proficiency with technology, including electronic health records (EHR).
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to regulatory compliance.
• Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities, up to 45 minutes.

Responsabilités

• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients in subacute or skilled nursing facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient.
• Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EHR per regulatory standards.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
