Job summary

Palmetto Subacute Care Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver supervised patient care in a long-term care setting. You will follow OT-developed goals and document progress in a timely manner, supporting a patient-centered treatment approach.

The role requires a valid state license, proficiency in documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care for geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid state license and registration for practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care preferred.
• Proficient in documenting patient progress.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care.
• Punctual, professional and reliable with scheduled hours.
• Performs duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best-practice treatments under OT supervision.
• Provide treatment aligned with OT-developed goals.
• Document patient progress weekly and as required by policy.
• Collaborate with disciplines to deliver best patient-centered care.
• Demonstrate exceptional patient service and professionalism.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.
