Job summary

Palmetto Subacute Care Center in Florida is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver therapy under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, following established goals and care plans. You will document patient progress weekly, collaborate with the treatment team, and provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in long‑term geriatric settings.

Active state licensure and strong documentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment under supervision of OT.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care preferred.
• Well versed with documentation writing.
• Document patient progress on weekly progress notes.
• Collaborates with disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Exceptional patient service and clinical excellence.
• Report on time and adhere to scheduled hours.
• Perform duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.
