Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must obtain Medication Manager certification on-site if not certified.
• Experience in healthcare, geriatrics, or elderly care preferred.
• Desire to work with geriatric population; CPR and First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Bathe and clean residents as needed, for both genders.
• Follow medication administration protocols for each resident.
• Assist in grooming (teeth, hair, nails, makeup, shaving, glasses).
• Make beds, change linens, keep rooms tidy and organized.
• Respond to emergency calls promptly.
• Help residents to bathroom and manage incontinence as needed.
• Record vital signs and report changes to nurse/director immediately.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, ROM, and ADLs; ensure safety.
• Respect residents' privacy and dignity per Resident Bill of Rights.
• Provide and participate in activity programming and care activities.
• Assist in admissions, transfers, and discharges; organize belongings.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions.
